"With her heart in her hand, this young, emerging artist has never questioned
the purpose of her artistic gifts. An old soul in a young vibrant body, Ashley Dull has found her voice by sharing her inner journey through nature-themed oil paintings.
It is so timely to have this exhibit at The Marsh as we seek places and pauses to rest, refresh and rethink our priorities in an unsettled and scattered world. The waters of Lake Minnetonka, the sunlight, the paths all lead us to our own journeys... which is the artist's mission. In knowing Ashley, I have admired her continued quest for learning and growth, a dedication to her art, her passion for helping others... a true inspiration!

Completed over the last three years, these paintings capture the inner journey of Ashley Dull as she listens deeply to her vocational call as an artist. It is a call to pay attention to the movement of the Spirit around and within her, and it is a call to be faithful to gifts given to her so that those who look upon these paintings might encounter the mystery of God’s beauty. Ashley describes her ultimate goal as one of inspiring others, giving them hope and light in times of darkness. She wants her paintings to create a sense of peace and encouragement for others as they find the strength residing in their hearts to live their own journeys.
